Emergency handling process for road traffic accidents
Before the Police Arrive:
- Accident occurs
- If there's an injury:
- Call 110,119
- Identify the driver
- Take pictures (signs, illegal parking, etc.)
- Find witnesses
- Identify vehicles involved
- Note evidence (signs, symbols, roadblocks)
- If there's no injurys:
- Call 110
- Identify the driver
- Take pictures (signs, illegal parking, etc.)
- Find witnesses
- Identify vehicles involved
- Note evidence (signs, symbols, roadblocks)
- If there's an injury:
Handling:
- Cooperate with the police
- Explain the evidence to the police
- Ask for an alcohol test if needed
- Driver reviews test results and signs record
- License confiscated and receipt issued
After Process:
- Check the fee for towing the damaged vehicle
- Ask the handling units for accident proof, test results, and photos
- Application for Appraisal: 6 months
- Application for case reopening: Within 15 days upon receiving Appraisal
- Lawsuit: 6 months
- Request a written release form to be signed
- Inform the insurance company (within 5 days)
